Our story

Built from the inside of African education

Mfundisi Education Consulting was founded in 2014 by two of Zambia’s most experienced education professionals. The name Mfundisi — meaning ‘teacher’ across several Bantu languages — is not merely a brand. It is a philosophy.

We are not theorists. Our founders have spent a combined 30+ years inside the classrooms, staffrooms, boardrooms, and leadership offices of Zambia’s most respected schools. We have lived the challenges our clients face — and we know exactly what it takes to solve them.
